On Sunday, 26th March 2023, we will celebrate the Regional Day for the Veneto Hills, now in its second year.
The project was created with the precise intention of enhancing the natural, historical, cultural, sporting and food and wine heritage of our Veneto Hills, whose wealth is made up of a mosaic of unique landscapes, small villages, remote churches, ancient crafts, popular traditions and typical products.
How could Primavera del Prosecco Superiore forego this opportunity to promote the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site? Here’s what our Wine Exhibitions and the Beato Toniolo Institute – Le Vie dei Santi have thought of and prepared for you!

From 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 ecological day in the hills of Conegliano. During the morning, participants will pick up abandoned waste in the hills, to raising awareness of more civilised behaviour and the cleanliness of our city.

Brindisi a San Lorenzo
From 8.45 a.m. to 4 p.m. a day to promote and celebrate our UNESCO heritage. The day will begin with a walk to the Church of San Lorenzo, where Holy Mass will be held at around 10 a.m. At 11.00 a tasting to celebrate the venetian hills. In the afternoon, literary talk entitled ‘Poetics of the Landscape’ by Prof. Paola Alessandra Vacalebre and background music by the group Il Convito Musicale.

Cleaned Hills – Ecological Day
From 8 a.m. to midday, a morning dedicated to caring for the territory. As part of the Ecological Day established by the Municipality, cleaning of paths and roads to make our Hills more beautiful and welcoming. For Combai, the meeting point is Piazza Brunelli, while in Miane at the Centro Polifunzionale. At the end, pasta party for all at the Centro Polifunzionale offered by the municipality of Miane.

♣ PRO LOCO OF REFRONTOLO
Cheers to the Colli Veneti
At 9.30 a.m. a walk in the Val Trippera: starting from the Barchessa di Villa Spada in Refrontolo, participant will take parto to a guided walk throught the Prosecco and Marzemino vineyards and rich vegetation. During the walk, stop at ‘la grotta della sgnapa (grappa)’, a ravine where illegal distillers produced grappa protected from public officials. Reservations are recommended at 345 422 0522.
The presentation of the book “Storie e Personaggi del Novecento” (Stories and Personalities of the 20th Century) is scheduled at 11 a.m., with musical accompaniment by the students of the Associazione Musicale Giovani Accordi of Refrontolo and the piano concert “Leggendo tra le note”. During the morning, children can take part in “Popular games of the past”.

A Window on the Hills
From 9.30 a.m. discover Feletto and its treasures. A walk from the Ancient Camaldolese Hermitage (town hall square) to the Ancient Parish Church of San Pietro di Feletto. You will be able to see the progress of work on the next tourist Info Point, located adjacent to the Antica Pieve. Here a guide will explain the parish church and its frescoes. We will then continue along the Pope’s path, returning to the Ancient Hermitage, where the Pro Loco will offer participants a toast.

Walk with Cartizze finale
On the occasion of the 53rd Mostra del Valdobbiadene e Cartizze DOCG, from 9.00 a.m. convivial guided walk through the Cartizze hills, lasting about 3 hours, cheered by the presence of the Valdobbiadene Choir for a snack together. Participation subject to payment.

Excursion and tasting among the hills
From 8.30 a slow journey through the UNESCO heritage hills to discover unique and special places that can only be reached on foot. Guided historical and cultural landscape tour: we will learn about the origin of the hamlet of Guia, passing through historic villages and religious buildings. The visit will continue with a walk through the vineyards where we will see and touch the Valdobbiadene DOCG production area; we will learn about the production of the world’s most famous sparkling wine by visiting a wine cellar. During the morning there will be three breaks with tasting and pairing of three types of VALDOBBIADENE DOCG with local products and dishes. Participation on payment.

Discovering the San Paolo hill
From 10 a.m. to 12 noon, a morning excursion among the hills of the Vittoriese area. On the occasion of the Day of the Colli Veneti a morning excursion to discover the Colle di San Paolo. Starting from the city centre, we will follow a ring-route along the paths that wind through the hills of Ceneda and, passing by the Castle of San Martino and the hill of San Paolo, we will discover some curiosities about the local fauna and flora and about these places rich in religion and history. Fede e bellezza nell’arte sacra
With the important collaboration of Istituto Diocesano Beato Toniolo – Le Vie dei Santi, you will also have the opportunity to visit five different holy places, guided by the words of the religious tourism operators trained by the local institute.
You will have the possibility to discover:
