This year\u2019s theme is <strong>the Veneto Bestiary<\/strong>: a journey through the stories, beliefs, rituals and tales of the Veneto\u2019s oral tradition, in which animals take centre stage in ancient legends, superstitions and mysteries handed down through the ages.\r\n\r\nThis evocative journey includes \u2018<strong>St Francis and the Animals: an encounter between history, legend and spirituality<\/strong>\u2019, an immersive experience that invites you to explore <strong>Conegliano<\/strong> with new eyes. St Francis and his connection with animals and nature are at the heart of an event dedicated to rediscovering his figure and the legacy he left behind in the history, spirituality and traditions of the region. Through three perspectives, historical, spiritual and folk the Franciscan presence in the Conegliano area, expressions of local religiosity and certain Franciscan texts dedicated to nature and animals will be explored in depth.
